And relax...

Yesterday was spent doing largely, well nothing, and it was great.  That is possibly because doing nothing in PRI involves playing around in bath temperature infinity pools overlooking the ocean, eating your own body weight in tortilla chips and guacamole whilst drinking local wine and when you are feeling ever so slightly active going for a saunter around the PRI grounds.

Given that me waxing lyrical about the joys of infinity pools may not be that fun for you I thought that today I would write the post I promised yesterday, namely uploading pictures of the Adobe Inn (where we stayed the first night) as I know that more than a few of you have an interest in design aesthetic ;-).  The Adobe Inn is a great concept B&B; the owners having travelled frequently were fed up of being beholden to various B&B owners.  Therefore when they opened the Adobe (anyone else thinking that we stayed in some type of strange computer programme?) they set up a system where you can pick up your key, have breakfast and check-out all without having to speak to them (I know - genius for the anti-social amongst us).  However, what was great about the Inn was its decor - they clearly have an eye for design and it was more akin to a boutique hotel then a B&B (the suitcase by the pumpkin is where you leave your key when you check-out):

Before I go to find the beach (yay) there was one last thing that I should share from yesterday.  As Jonathan and I were drinking fizz watching the sunset from our deck (is a deck made of slate still a deck?) the local wildlife decided to wander by.  First we had a family of wild turkeys (who knew?) and then a deer and her fawn came and ate outside of our house for about ten minutes.  I was going to load up pictures to show you but unfortunately 30 minutes later I am still waiting and the beach is calling so until another time..

Until the next post, AD xxx
